A new logo has been introduced at the SRA, along with a new line-up of officers for the next year.

Jonny Chambers, SRA Design Officer, has created the new look, and explains why a refresh was needed: “Our old branding has served the SRA well for over a decade, but as we continue to grow and develop as a major supporter of student talent within the industry, we set about introducing the next iteration of the student radio association brand.

“Our new branding gives us more flexibility, brings the SRA firmly into 2016 and is packed with subtle little hints to reflect what we do and where we’re heading as an organisation. It’s designed to reflect the huge array of moment stations and students who have supported the SRA over the years.

“It’s been 4 years in the making (no really, I have no life) and we cannot wait to press play on the future of radio.”

And here are the new officers for 2016:

Chair – Jonty Usborne (University Radio Bath)
Membership and Communications – Dom Stirling (Spark FM)
Training and Development – Matt Maddren (Fly FM)
Events – Will Short (Xpression FM)
Marketing – Naomi Oiku (Radio Sonar)
Admin Officers – Appointed each year by the Exec to bring specialist skills and knowledge to the team.
Design Officer – Jonny Chambers (Spark FM)
Content Officer – Emma Bradshaw (URN)
Music Officer – Scott Hastie (Spark FM)
Chart Officer – Jamie Lee (University Radio Bath)
Deputy Events Officer – Chris Couch (University Radio Bath)
Deputy Marketing Officer – Kieran Lewis (Xpress Radio)

Scotland Officer – Mark Cunningham (Radio Caley)
North East and Yorkshire Officer – Jack Clare (Purple Radio)
North West Officer – Rhys Hancock (Fuse FM)
Midlands Officer – Amy Southall (Scratch Radio)
South West Officer – Katy Hills (Xpression FM)
South East Officer – Samuel Spencer (Radio Sonar)
London and East Anglia Officer – Stephen Mitchell (Smoke Radio)

Finance Officer – Matt Hurst (Surge Radio)
