A presenter on Radio Broadgreen in Liverpool has been suspended after broadcasting topless online.
Nigel Bateman made a short video clip on Facebook Live joking he was naked when he had just taken his shirt off, complaining it was too hot in the studio.
The Liverpool Echo ran the story and now Radio City Talk / Radio City 2 late night presenter Pete Price has supported Nigel, by copying him and posted a clip of himself in the same shirt-less studio position.
Nigel told the newspaper he got an email the same day revealing his antics had left the station’s committee unimpressed and that he was suspended. He said he was told the video was “inappropriate” and would damage the station’s reputation in the eyes of the NHS trust which runs Broadgreen hospital.
