New breakfast show co-host at Capital Liverpool

Vlogger Dylan Evans has joined Capital Liverpool’s breakfast show team, replacing Imogen Townley.

The show is now know as Capital breakfast with Adam, Gemma & Dylan, after Dylan hosted a few guests slots recently. Imogen has left the station to focus on her other commitments. She joined in 2014 and is known for her role in the reality TV show Magaluf Weekender.

20-year-old Dylan is a Liverpool-born vlogger with millions of followers on YouTube and social media. His pranks and videos have amassed more than 400 million views in the past 12 months.

Ben Anderson, Capital Liverpool’s managing editor, said: “Dylan is already a firm favourite with Capital Liverpool listeners and so we’re thrilled to welcome him to the team. He’s one of Liverpool’s brightest young talents, entertaining millions with his Vines and vlogs, and it’s great to see that there’s such a strong pool of homegrown talent in Liverpool coming through.”

Dylan Evans said: “I’m really excited to be joining the Capital Liverpool Breakfast team. Having presented alongside Adam & Gemma before, I know we’ll have a proper laugh, and I can’t wait to get started!”

Capital Liverpool took over from 107.6 Juice FM at the start of 2016 after Global purchased the station last year.
