Peak FM host changes name to Gary Barlow

It’s official – Gary Barlow is the breakfast show host at Wireless Group’s Peak FM.

Stu Haycock, who presents the show each weekday with Catherine Kilvington, recently changed his name by deed poll to Gary Barlow in an attempt to lure the singer to North Derbyshire.

Listener and Take That fan, Sam Watkin, has hit the national headlines in her efforts to get the singer to Chesterfield to sing at her 50th birthday party in August.

Sam has bombarded the singer with tweets, emails and messages in the hope the superstar will respond. So far, the popstar has resisted Sam’s requests.

Meanwhile, Stu took the decision to officially change his name and has even offered to sing at her party if her efforts fail.

Stu commented, “We wanted to get behind Sam and the rest of North Derbyshire.”
