Former talkSPORT host Colin Murray is returning to 5 live’s Fighting Talk for a second stint as presenter and judge.
He’ll be back on-air from this Saturday, September 17th.
Colin first presented the show between 2006 and 2013, playing judge and jury as panellists tried to earn points for punditry. He will once again take on hosting duties as a panel of comedians, sports stars and broadcasters offer their take on the latest sporting news and events and play games such as “defend the indefensible” and “Any Other Business”.
He takes over from comedian Josh Widdicombe and presenter Georgie Ainslie, who have left to pursue other projects.
On returning, Colin said: “It’ll never work….”
Jonathan Wall, controller of BBC Radio 5 live, said: “Colin is pretending he is not excited, but trust me, he’s thrilled to be back on Fighting Talk and I’m delighted he’s back too.”
Colin left talkSPORT recently after saying he won’t work with its new owners, News Corp, even after being offered a new three year contract.
