Justin Bieber says sorry for Radio 1 performance

Singer Justin Bieber has apologised to his fans after nerves got the better of him during a live performance on BBC Radio 1.

Justin was the special guest in the Live Lounge from Los Angeles on Thursday but tweeted afterwards saying he was sorry: “I don’t usually get nervous but tonight I was thrown off and I was. Sorry about that. Really wanted to be my best. Hope u all had fun” he said.

Justin performed the UK’s current number 1, as well as covers of Tracy Chapman and 2Pac. He also gave Clara Amfo a guided tour of his house and back garden complete with inflatable bouncy slide and basketball court.

The live music was performed during the Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw.
