Magic radio show for actor and comedian Tom Price

Welsh actor and comedian Tom Price is joining Magic to host two new weekend shows.

He’ll be on-air each Saturday and Sunday from 3-6pm on the national station, based in London.

Tom is known as a stand-up comedian and has acted in a range of TV series – ITV’s ‘Victoria’, BBC’s Saturday night drama ‘Torchwood’ and Sky 1’s ‘Stella’.

He’s looking forward to getting on the radio: “I’m completely over excited about joining Magic. You know you get those videos of eager Beagles being let out of the house on their first walk of the day? That’s me in the Magic studio. I’m exactly like an eager Beagle. What’s not to love?

“A playlist that you cannot help but adore and sometimes openly applaud, a brilliant team with great ideas and finally, finally I’ve got the chance to spend Saturday and Sunday afternoons talking about whatever random thoughts pop into my head without being stared at blankly by my baffled and frankly long-suffering family. They’re all delighted about this. I really hope you’ll join me from 3 every weekend afternoon. Bring biscuits.”

Content Director at Bauer, Tony Moorey, added, “I’m thrilled that Tom is joining the Magic family. His show will follow on from Mel Giedroyc’s perfectly, with Tom’s wit and insight into modern life making it a must listen.”
