Eagle radio presenter gets to choose music

Peter Gordon is being given the freedom to choose his own music on Eagle Breakfast… for an hour… in celebration of his 50th birthday.

The station has allowed Peter to drop the usual playlist after reading references to the Government’s proposals to deregulate the industry, and after the Bauer City Network 1 style guide was published.

Peter, who has been broadcasting locally since 1990, is also the Deputy Content Director of UKRD.

Eagle Radio Managing Director Paul Marcus told RadioToday: “We really have placed absolutely no restrictions on his choices so we could be in for an interesting morning…”

After Friday’s show the station will publish details of Peter’s play-list and the stories behind his choices on its website.
