The acts were announced this morning by Chris Evans on the Radio 2 Breakfast Show, calling it Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park’s “best ever line up”. Chris chatted to Gary Barlow, Shania Twain, Kelly Jones, Rick Astley and James Blunt about performing at the festival.

Jeff Smith, Head of Music for Radio 2, said: “In this our 50th year we welcome an incredible line-up of world class artists and musicians who showcase the breadth of music played across BBC Radio 2. Listeners, viewers and the audience in the park will be treated to everything from rock and pop, to folk and country. Take That will be joined by two other acts also celebrating special anniversaries this year namely Stereophonics and Rick Astley plus we’re thrilled to be welcoming country music royalty, Shania Twain, for a rare UK appearance.”
