Former Rock FM, Magic, Century and The Bee presenter Rob Charles is taking over the evening show on Preston community station City Beat.
Rob, who is also the voice of morning presenter Mike on Peter Kay’s Car Share programme, returns this week to radio in Lancashire.
City Beat content director LJ told RadioToday about the hire: “Rob has vast experience within the world of radio we are delighted that Rob decided to join City Beat with other radio stations wanting his services.
“We know his talent experience and radio-style will push City Beat to another level.”
Rob is on-air weekdays from 7pm starting this week and is also part of the line-up for a new online station Delux Radio starting later this year.
