Zack FM goes DAB as Richard Spendlove joins

Former BBC Radio Cambridgeshire presenter Richard Spendlove has joined community station Zack FM.

Richard joined the BBC in 1989 and his weekly phone-in show was broadcast across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Three Counties, Northampton and Kent. He was awarded the MBE for Services to Regional and Local Radio Broadcasting in June 2000.

He left the BBC after 28 years in June 2017 after a controversy.

Now he’s on Zack FM each Sunday night from 9pm till midnight, as the station joins DAB in East Anglia.
