He was the natural choice for the top 10 at 10 slot playing the older tunes, i dont know why he was taken off that slot. With the departure of Warren Moore and Matt Spokes (criminal to let someone of his talent go) it should be a no brainer for the Key management to restore Penk to his natural weekday slot. The weeks have gone by, frontline DJ's have left and have only been replaced by fill in presenters- it gives the impression the management dont know what they are doing or they are trying to run the station on the cheap with fill in presenters. It seem reading between the lines it is possible that the Key management could not afford to meet his demands or wanted him to take a pay cut as he was only doing the weekend shows compared to a show every weekday when he first re-signed back to Key. It was something on the lines that he was offered a new contact, but his agent didnt respond. The article was about a week and half ago now, I cant remember the date. | ||

He'll get the odd voiceover job I imagine and the money he was on at Key 103 should tide him over for a bit.
