Manchester Station ‘Key 103’ has hosted Prime Minister Gordon Brown in a forum for teenagers across Greater Manchester, offering the youngsters the chance to discuss current issues with the PM.
The audience, which included the daughter of murdered Warrington man Gary Newlove and Coronation Street youngster Brooke Vincent, got the chance to put their questions to Brown who has been touring the country in an effort to boost his party’s standing in the polls and highlight his Backing Young Britain campaign.
John Pickford, Key 103’s News Editor said: “It was a privilege to host an event such as this. To see such a high ranking MP take time out of his busy schedule to listen to the concerns of the people of Manchester was amazing.”
