Actor Martin Sheen has voiced a new documentary for BBC Radio 2, telling the story of when Elvis met the President.

The programme, which was produced by Jo Meek at All Out Productions, is to be broadcast on the national network on January 5th 2010.

All Out have worked with Hollywood actor, and fictional resident of the West Wing, Martin Sheen to tell the story of when the King of rock 'n' roll met the President of the United States to offer his services to his country as a special secret agent.

In this hour long special for Radio 2's Elvis season Martin Sheen tells the bizarre story of how Elvis expressed his desire to Richard Nixon be made a "Federal Agent at Large" in order to communicate with and report on what he felt were harmful factions threatening America.

The hour long special hears from Elvis aide Jerry Schilling and the 2 Nixon staffers who made it possible for Elvis to meet the President of the USA.
