Former Chief Operating Officer at Global Radio, Don Thompson, has joined Celador Radio as a Non-Executive Director.
He brings over 30 years of media experience to the company, who are rumoured to be considering an imaginative expansion plan.
Celador Radio Broadcasting is currently made up of The Coast, the soft rock format for over 40’s in the Solent region.
Chairman Paul Smith says: “I’m delighted to welcome a colleague of such high calibre who shares my passion for radio. Don has an impressive track record in the business and I am looking forward to working together.”
Don said: “These are exciting times for radio in general and Celador Radio Broadcasting particularly. The Coast has just published excellent RAJAR figures after fourteen months of trading and this gives us the confidence to look at enhancing the station and taking the successful format to a wider audience.”
