Deadline nears for New Yorks

The deadline to enter the New York Festivals Radio Programming and Promotions Awards is just a few weeks away.

Radio stations from around the UK, usually come away with a good percentage of awards each year, but the closing date for entries is March 31st.

The awards, now in their 53rd year, are judged by Directors, Producers, Writers, Reporters, Program Directors and various other radio professionals from across the globe who volunteer their time. All entries are judged on-line by panels of industry experts from around the world.

They include, from the UK, Darren Adam from Radio Forth, Tony Currie from BBC Radio Scotland, Will Jackson from GTN, Kim Michaels from BBC Radio Solent and Jon Stewart from the BBC World Service.
