Bob McCreadie for Radio Plymouth breakfast

Former Plymouth Sound and Pirate FM presenter Bob McCreadie has taken over the breakfast show on Radio Plymouth.

Bob has replaced Chris Batchelor who’s decided to make a career change.

Station Manager and Afternoon Presenter Tim Manns told RadioToday: “We’ve had an exciting time since we launched in 2010 and I’m thrilled to have Bob fronting our breakfast show. Anyone who knows him will tell you he’s a clever, funny presenter and I know our audience will love his show. It will definitely be a great way to start the day.”

Bob says: “I love to hear from and connect with listeners and Plymouth is a city that has always been special to me. It’s lovely to be back!”

Bob will present the weekday breakfast show from 6-10am as well as Sunday afternoons from 2-5pm.

Radio Plymouth recently had a change in shareholders – with Celador Radio buying Devon Radio’s 36% share. Devon Radio was a wholly owned subsidiary of Sunrise Radio/The Litt Corporation.
