Chris North exits Wise Buddah for a break

Wise Buddah’s Director Chris North has decided to leave the independent production company after 12 years to take some time out.

Chris is currently Director of Talent and Deputy MD.

He said: “My time at Wise Buddah has been fantastic, allowing me to work with some incredibly talented people. I am – and always will be – extremely proud of all that we have achieved as a company.

“I may return to management again at some point but I want to step away from being a company director, and head of department. 12 years is a long time and after having taken a month off recently, I have come to the decision a longer break is needed. We looked at the practicalities of my taking this and returning, but bearing in mind the companies needs and my own, all concerned agreed this was the best solution.

I wish all in the company every success”‬. Wise Buddah Managing Director, Dave Holt said.

“‬I will be sorry to see him go, Chris leaves us after a fantastic spell building Wise Buddah’s Talent agency into one of the most exciting around with a very strong roster and brilliant team behind them.”

Chris joined Wise Buddah in 2000 from the Radio Academy. He moved to Wise Buddah Talent in 2001 as an agent and became head of talent in 2006. He helped Wise Buddah Talent pick up a 2007 Sony Gold for the Best Internet Programme Award.
