George FM welcomes Prince of Cambridge

A radio station in New Zealand has tweaked its logo and strapline after the name of the new Royal baby was announced as George Alexander Louis.

George FM, which normally has the strapline of “Beats Working”, has changed it to “Being a Royal sure beats working” and added a crown to its logo.

The station is also planning to “Wet” the baby’s head at a bar called “Chapel” this afternoon. Anybody called George or Georgina will get a free drink on arrival.

The station covers Auckland and plays dance and electronic music.
