Heart Breakfast’s Harriet Scott is to become a mum. She broke the news live on air this morning. Harriet and her husband David Bloom are expecting their baby in January.
Harriet has just signed a new contract with Heart 106.2 which will see her co-host Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston until 2011. In April this year, they celebrated their 1000th Heart Breakfast show together and last month, they were named Radio Presenters of the Year at the Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards.
Harriet Scott said: “I'm so excited about becoming a mum. It all feels a bit overwhelming but I'm sure I can pick up tips from our listeners along the way. I'm looking forward to sending Jamie out for banana and anchovy pizzas first thing in the morning!”
