KCFM 99.8 lights up the sky

Hull's new radio station KCFM is lighting up a local building in an attempt to gain new listeners. The Hull Royal Infirmary agreed for the station to put its name and familiar song titles on the tall building, which overlooks a temporary fun fair.

Sarah Harrison, marketing and events manager at the station told RadioToday.co.uk: "This week Hull hosts the biggest fun fair which the HRI overlooks and so I thought it’d be a perfect marketing opportunity to get our brand seen. We managed to sweet talk the NHS to let us put the lights on the side of the building and we also put song titles on that related to the fair with a very cheesy strap-line: KCFM “It’s a great ride!”
