Bauer's three Liverpool radio stations united as one yesterday as the Pete Price phone in, normally broadcast on City Talk 105.9, was simulcast on Magic 1548 and Radio City 96.7 from 10pm till midnight.
The special programme was to allow listeners to all three stations to have their say on the conclusion of the Rhys Jones murder trial in the city, as 18 year old Sean Mercer was convicted of murder at Liverpool Crown Court.
Pete is no stranger to all three frequencies, as his programme has been a part of all stations schedules at some point in the past.
Regional commercial stations Smooth Radio and Century Radio also extended their news bulletins to reflect the major news event, with Century broadcasting an hour long news special between 6pm and 7pm.
