Radio Lapland is the new Birdsong

Sounds from Santa's workshop are coming to DAB Digital Radio during the next week for the run up to Christmas.
It's snow joke – Radio Lapland will use space on local multiplexes in around 20 regions to broadcast background noise in a "birdsong" fashion.

Arqiva has provided the space for the channel free of charge and space on the Radio Lapland website will be offered to UK charities who have suitable Christmas messages and appeals to run.
Radio Lapland was created as part of the Digital Radio UK campaign to promote the digital platform by communications agency GallieGodfrey and independent radio producer Folded Wing.
Santa (apparently) said "Children across the UK will love tuning in to hear the sound of Lapland as I prepare for Christmas Day. The great thing about Digital Radio is that it makes a superb Christmas present for friends and family and provides a brilliant choice of radio stations all year round.”
You can tune in right now at radiolapland.co.uk.
