Sky Sports News Radio is now available free of charge via Sky's website.
The breaking sports news station, which was previously only available to paying Sky subscribers, arrives at the same time its TV version disappears from Freeview.
The station is online only – and also has a dedicated iPhone app which is free to download from the iTunes app store.
It broadcasts 24 hours a day and features many similar features and journalists on the television version, which is now in HD via satellite. Sky voice Bruce Hammal has also made the move, and is joined by female voice-over artist Gina Mellotte.
The programme schedule includes Good Morning Sports Fans, Premier League Preview and Blazing Saddles. Soccer Saturday will also air from 3pm till 6pm each Saturday. Presenters and journalists include Dave Armstrong, Chris Cooper, Tom White and Ben Ransom.
