Tim West is to host the daily Big Drive Home show on Sun FM, taking over from Liam Smedley who has left the station.
The Darlington-born presenter has worked in the industry for over 16 years on a number of stations including Alpha 103.2, Red Rose, Minster FM and Garrison. He’s most recently been on-air at weekends on Sun FM.
Programme Director at 103.4 Sun FM Simon Grundy tells RadioToday: “I am delighted that Tim has agreed to take over the ‘Big Drive Home’ and I’m sure he’ll soon become part of our daily routine here in Sunderland”.
Tim said: “I love Sun FM and have aspired to a weekday show for some time. Simon & the team are a great bunch of people and, now, part of the UKRD Group which made it an easy decision”.
