Global Radio has appointed Tracey McNellan as Managing Director of Capital FM East Midlands.
She joins from Bauer Media where she was most recently Station Director of Radio Clyde, and brings over 20 years of radio industry experience with her.
Global Radio’s Managing Director Regions Mark Lee said: “Tracey brings with her a wealth of experience in radio along with an impressive track record of delivering outstanding results and we’re excited to welcome her to the team at such a perfect time in the station’s development.”
Commenting on her appointment, Tracey McNellan said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the East Midlands’ number one hit music station within a year of its launch. Global has changed the shape of commercial radio and I’m honoured to be joining the company as it continues to perform at the top of its game.”
Capital FM East Midlands was created when Trent FM, RAM FM and Leicester Sound merged in January, and currently has 540,000 tuning in every week according to the latest RAJAR figures.
