Ex-BBC Asian Network drive-time presenter Yasser Ranjha has joined Global to host a new weekday show on Capital XTRA.
From today he’ll be on Drive with the station’s playlist of Hip-Hop & RnB anthems between 4pm and 7pm.
Yasser said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Capital XTRA and cannot wait to get started on the drive show.
“It’s a privilege to be part of the Global family and share the corridors with some of the most iconic names in broadcasting.”
Mike Panteli will continue to host his show on Capital XTRA Reloaded with non-stop old skool.
Yasser left BBC Asian Network in September 2021 after nine years as the station introduced four new shows and presenters.
