Two new radio shows for Tony Blackburn

Tony Blackburn, who presents on six different radio stations, is to start two new radio programmes on BBC Radio Berkshire and BBC 3CR.

The two shows will be on-air at the same time, Sunday 9am till 11am. On BBC Berkshire he’ll be playing “the best from the 60s 70s and 80s” whilst on BBC 3CR, a station he’s been covering on recently, he’ll start a new soul show.

The former pirate radio broadcaster and Radio 1 host tweeted the news this morning, also saying he’s got “some more exciting news to come in the next few days to do with the 50th anniversary of my broadcasting”

So, we work out that Tony’s radio schedule looks a little like this at the moment:

BBC Berkshire: Friday 10am and NEW Sunday 9-11am from July 6th
BBC Radio 2: Saturday 1-3pm
BBC 3CR: NEW Sunday 9-11am
BBC London: Sunday 12-3pm
kmfm: Sunday 4pm-7pm
Magic (AM): Sunday 4pm-7pm
