Lynn Parsons to host Jazz FM Breakfast

Former BBC Radio 2, Smooth and Capital presenter Lynn Parsons is taking over the breakfast show on Jazz FM from next week.

Her new show is part of a number of changes at the station, which also includes a daily hour long strand of specialist new Jazz programmes. Current breakfast presenter John Osborne moves to weekend breakfast.

Jazz FM Content Director Nick Pitts said “Having Lynn join us as a full time member of our team, after a very successful series of guest appearances over the last few months, is a total joy. Not only do we have a consummate broadcaster but also a true jazz fan.”

Lynn Parsons adds: “As a listener to Jazz FM I wake up every morning to the songs of Miles Davis, Jill Scott & Sergio Mendes. Now I’ve been given the opportunity to actually play their songs… it doesn’t get much better than that!”

Lynn’s radio career started on the London pirate station JFM and her last full time radio gig was with Smooth Radio on mornings.
