Schedule released for Bauer City 2 stations

Here’s the new schedule for the stations currently known as Magic on AM across the North of England, along with Bauer stations in Scotland broadcasting on AM.

The new line-up of presenters, most of which are already with the network, includes Scotland and England stations coming together for all output except breakfast and drive for the first time.

It means a number of presenter who present regional breakfast shows on Magic AM stations are leaving the company, to be replaced by a networked Nick Jackson. In Scotland, Robin Galloway’s breakfast replacement is Alan Edwards. John Leslie will take on the networked afternoon show whilst Darren Kelly does mornings. Afternoon Drive is Ally Bally in Scotland and Nick Wright in England.

The weekend schedule features new presenters Adam Catterall, James Grove and Gary Muircroft, plus regulars Arlene Stuart, Mike Read and Tony Blackburn.

The network also sees the re-introduction in England of local traffic and travel, news and weather. See the video on the new station sound above or try here.

Group Content Director, Bauer Place north of England and Scotland Owen Ryan said “The Bauer City 2 Network will bring the ‘Greatest Hits’ to our local markets. This is coupled with country specific shows, traffic and travel, news, weather and a roster of outstanding broadcasters – extending the reach of the Bauer City Network to an older demographic”.
