Samsung special advisor Simon Beresford-Wylie is joining Arqiva as its new CEO, replacing John Cresswell.
John has been CEO of Arqiva for four and a half years and has significantly grown its profits. It has a forward order book at an all-time high of £6.4bn and will this year deliver record revenues.
Simon is a global executive with more than 30 years of experience in the information technology and telecoms sector.
He arrives from Samsung Electronics, where he was based in Seoul, Korea as a special advisor, guiding a review of the strategy and operations of the company’s Network Business. Prior to joining Samsung, Simon was CEO of UK-based Digital Mobile Spectrum Limited.

He joins Arqiva on 1 August 2015.
