UCB launches its own online player app

United Christian Broadcasters has launched its own player app, bringing together all of UCB’s radio and TV channels.

The app will also feature seven days of catch up and on demand programming.

It’s available online and on all portable net-connected devices, including Android, Kindle Fire and iOS. In addition, the UCB Player will soon also be available via Internet-connected Smart TVs and on Freeview HD channel 241 through the TV player portal.

UCB’s Director of Broadcasting and Publishing Dave Withers said: “The way people watch TV and listen to radio has changed dramatically in the last few years and this new Player has taken us a long time to develop.

“It means that people can now access great movies, teaching programmes and concerts both live and on Catch-up, as well as listen again to any radio programmes on our three stations they may have missed in the previous seven days. The Player is one of the first of its kind in UK Christian broadcasting and we’re excited about the possibilities.”

The service is in addition to the station being available on the Radioplayer app. More info at ucb.co.uk/player
