Film by UK radio producer to be released in cinema

A new award-winning feature film about to be released at the cinema has been produced by commercial radio production manager Karl Svenson.

Polterheist, a Yorkshire-set Gangster Black comedy has screened at 20 film festivals around the world and already scooped up accolades for its script and performance.

Karl, who lives in Hull and is a founding member of Tadah Media in Manchester, executive produced the film and was deeply involved in the music and sound effects.

“The film Polterheist is a terrific story about Yorkshire Gangsters and Ghosts and has been compared to Scarface, Four Lions and Rita Sue and Bob too. I’m so proud of what this low-budget film has achieved and I’m looking forward to seeing it at the cinema,” Karl told RadioToday.

The film will be shown from Monday 1st October at Light Cinemas in Bradford.
