Former Capital and Heart presenter Greg Burns is back on the radio in the UK with a weekend show on Hits Radio.
Greg moved to Australia to host mid-mornings on Nova in Sydney in 2016 and is currently hosting the new Bauer show from Australia before returning to the UK in the next few weeks.
His first show was yesterday, titled The Hits Radio Throwback, airing every Sunday from 7pm to 10pm.
Programme Director for Hits Radio, Paul Gerrard told RadioToday: “Greg is one of the world’s hottest music presenters, the vibe and humour he can bring to a radio show is electric. I can’t wait to hear him playing an incredible playlist of throwbacks every Sunday night, wrapping up the new-look Hits Radio Weekend in style!”
Greg Burns added “After three years here in Oz, I’m so excited to be getting back on air across the UK and joining Hits Radio’s great weekend line up. I’ve got some amazing tracks lined up ready to play and I know Sunday evenings across the UK are about to become a real must listen moment!”
Greg worked for Capital on Drive from 2007 to 2016, Virgin Radio in 2006/2007 and Heart London before that, from 1998 to 2006.
