Chris Copsey comes back for more

Chris Copsey is making a return to the airwaves of Sussex – almost a year after disappearing from the dial. From the 14th of September, Chris will be presenting the weekday 11am-3pm show on Splash FM and Bright FM.

The show will also broadcast from later in the autumn on Eastbourne’s Sovereign Radio, and Arrow FM, which broadcasts to Hastings. In addition to his new weekday show, Chris will also be appearing at the weekend, with his ‘Retro Show’.
Chris was a regular voice on the radio dial in Sussex for over 25 years, but disappeared a few months ago after changes at Southern FM, which has now become part of the London-based ‘Heart’ radio network.
Chris said: ”I’m really looking forward to getting back on-air. I've had so many people asking if I'll ever be on the radio again and, thanks to this exciting opportunity, I'm delighted to be heading back to the Sussex airwaves”
Programme Controller Paul Williams added: “It’s an absolute joy to be bringing Coppo back to the airwaves of Sussex! He’s been a firm favourite of listeners in the county for over a quarter of a century, and I can’t wait to hear him back on the radio!”
