Joe Kilday joins Central as PC

Central FM in Scotland has appointed Joe Kilday as their new programme controller.

Joe was the first voice on the station at launch and recently returned to present the breakfast show with co-host Nicky Reid. He was continue to present the show alongside his new PC duties.

Joe has an impressive CV in Scottish radio, presenting breakfast shows over the years at Clyde 1, Clyde 2, Scot FM, then Real Radio, West FM and also Q96. He started his career in 1990 for the now defunct East End Radio.

Central hope that Joe’s wealth of experience will help him expand on Central FM’s 27 percent year on year audience growth in the last survey.

Character work is also one of Joe’s strong points and he can be heard on voiceovers for television channels including The Biography Channel, E4, Channel 4 and The Discovery Channel. He is also the official Peter Dickson sound-alike for ITV 1 and 2.
