Milestone also today announces it has successfully broadened the appeal of Passion 107.9, its wholly owned radio station for Oxford and south Oxfordshire, from its traditional base of young males to a more general audience with a particular under-35 bias. The latest (Quarter 1, 2006) official RAJAR audience figures show that the station has achieved more female than male listeners – in line with its strategy of widening the breadth of the audience delivered to advertisers within its market. The figures give the station 21,200 adult listeners in total every week.
