JACK fm Swindon has hired Peak FM drive presenter Richie Pearson for breakfast, as a replacement for Ben Atkinson who went to Heart.
Richie has previously worked at Hallam FM, Juice FM and The Bee, and is looking forward to heading further south: “I’m absolutely chuffed and honoured to be joining one of most exciting and stations in the country and cannot wait to get started. I am very very very very very very very very excited”
JACK fm’s Regional Programme Manager Ian Downs said: “I’ve never heard of him. What? Oh, THAT Richie, the one that says ‘very’ a lot in press releases? Yea he’s great”
Richie will take up his full time position with JACK fm in early October after the programming team have removed all of his knowledge of conventional commercial radio and taught him a JACK trick or two.
