Signal 1 and 2 are doing it for the kids

Staffordshire and Cheshire stations Signal 1 and 2 are creating an event for those aged 11 to 17 to enjoy live music.

Arena Live, created with event specialist PREM Management, makes its debut on Friday 24th August and include a number of acts including The Mend from Britain’s Got Talent.

Signal will host the event with messages from presenters and social media activity as well as selling tickets.

Iain Fowler, Station Director at Signal Radio, says: “Arena Live is a great concept which will bring youngsters together in a safe environment to enjoy live music. We’re delighted to be working with PREM Management on this joint venture, combining our team’s expertise to put on a great series of events to support the younger generation of the area.”

Steve Buxton, managing director of PREM Management, added: “At PREM we believe that Arena Live is a strong proposition to offer those aged 11 to 17 a regular social occasion, to enjoy live music in a venue that parents feel comfortable leaving their children. We believe we can grow the concept and offer various stakeholders the chance to get involved to communicate important lifestyle messages to this often difficult to reach audience.
