Larger than life Maurice Jay returns to the airwaves to present U105 Drive, when UTV?s new radio station launches on 105.8FM on Monday 14 November.
Known as Mr Breakfast for many years, Maurice was recently appointed Head of Music for U105 and is also responsible for creating the sound of the station.
Maurice?s new show will be broadcast weekdays from 4pm ? 7pm. ?It?s all about having a laugh with, or at me, as the case often is?, says Maurice.
With a great mix of music, guests and features, plus all the latest traffic and relevant news; Maurice intends to bring his very own brand of comedy to the afternoons to make that drive home more bearable.
Maurice says: ?Not knowing what my listeners will come out with makes for an interesting show and I can?t wait to get my teeth into a new slot and give listeners a giggle after work.?
U105 Drive will also have regular features on the movies, theatre and concerts, plus a holiday deals slot.
