Clyde 1 on the buses

Radio Clyde is jumping back on board Glasgow and the West of Scotland buses during September and introducing the theme, THE ONLY 1 FOR GLASGOW AND THE WEST in a series of three adverts in a heavyweight campaign throughout the West of Scotland.

More than 300 buses throughout Glasgow and the West of Scotland will feature one of the eye-catching and strongly branded visuals on their rears.

Radio Clyde worked closely with Glasgow-based creative agency Coltas and media buyers Spirit Media to produce and place the series of ads.

102.5 Clyde 1?s hottest property and most listened to DJ, breakfast show host George Bowie appears in the artwork with the strapline THE ONLY 1 FOR BREAKFAST IN THE WEST.

Peak time, independently sourced travel and traffic news is broadcast in exclusive Eye in the Sky segments, making Radio Clyde truly THE ONLY 1 FOR TRAFFIC NEWS IN THE WEST. This exceptional resource is invaluable to commuters in the West and is an important, unique selling point for the station.

Football fans travelling home on weeknights can now tune in to Clyde 1 for the West of Scotland?s biggest phone-in Superscoreboard Xtra!. Radio Clyde?s unrivalled connection with the Old Firm is represented using THE ONLY 1 FOR FOOTBALL IN THE WEST. The intensity of an old firm clash is captured, asserting the station?s allegiance to football in the West.

Radio Clyde?s Managing Director, Paul Cooney told radiotoday.co.uk:

The strap line reinforces that Clyde 1 is the only 1 for Glasgow and the West and we?ve picked three key themes, which are very important to our programming and to our listeners. The bus rears give us great coverage throughout our heartland of Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, Dunbartonshire, North Ayrshire and Stirling. ?
