More appointments at U105

U105, the new station for Belfast has made further appointments in the sales and programming department.

Mellisa King joins as Sales Executive, Rosie Haggan has been appointed as Agency Sales Executive and Siobhan Lavery takes up the position of Sales Manager. Eddie McDermott has been appointed as Commercial Producer, Derek West has been appointed as Sales Executive, Maurice Jay has been appointed as Head of Music and finally for the moment, Peter McVerry has been appointed as News Editor.

Mellisa King

Melissa is responsible for direct radio sales and has worked in the advertising industry since 1997 after graduating from the Oxford Business and Media College.

Rosie Haggan

Rosie is responsible for advertising agency sales and she has worked in advertising sales 1998. She is a graduate of University of Ulster in Coleraine.

Siobhan Lavery

Siobhan is responsible for managing all advertising, sponsorship and promotions for U105. A graduate of The Queen?s University of Belfast, Siobhan has previously held a number of senior sales positions in Northern Ireland.

Eddie McDermott

Eddie is responsible for producing the station?s on air advertising and has worked in radio for the past 20 years.

Derek West

Derek will be responsible for direct radio sales and has worked in radio for the past 12 years.

Maurice Jay

Maurice is responsible for selecting and scheduling U105?s music output to ensure U105?s music reaches the largest possible audience.

A well known local personality, Maurice?s wide ranging experience includes presenting and producing market leading radio shows in Northern Ireland.

Peter McVerry

A graduate of the University of Ulster, Peter previously worked in a number of newspapers throughout Northern Ireland. He started working at UTV as Senior Journalist Online in 2001 and has assisted in producing UTV programmes End to End, A Day in the Life and NW200.
