Bad time for PrimeTime Radio

PrimeTime Radio was broadcast on the Digital One Network until mid-May 2006. The station’s owner, Roger de Haan, chose not to renew the contract for a further period beyond that date.

Digital One is sad to lose PrimeTime Radio, as the station provided a distinctive and popular service, appealing to an important segment of radio listeners. We understand that the station will continue to broadcast on some other platforms, such as Sky Digital (channel 0132), NTL cable (channel 872), and on the Internet (at www.primetimeradio.org). The station will also be available on DAB digital radio in the Greater London and Northern Ireland areas.

At present, Digital One is considering various plans for the future use of the capacity previously occupied by PrimeTime Radio. No details about its likely use are currently available, but Digital One hopes to make an announcement in the near future.
