Virgin Radio is launching a brand new channel that will bring Party Classics from Madness legend Suggs to the nation all day every day.
Virgin Radio Party Classics will appear on Sky Channel 0204 and will play even more of the very best feel-good music that people tune in for with Suggs every Friday and Saturday night. Classic tracks from the likes of B52’s, Prince, Madness and Jackson 5 will be going out to a potential 8 million people across the nation via Sky Digital from tomorrow. Suggs? original Party Classics show will also be broadcast live on the channel every Friday and Saturday night.

The growing network of Virgin Radio stations all offer an intelligent credible music choice to a mainstream audience. The legendary Virgin Radio targets 25-44 year olds audience across the UK, reaching nearly 2.5 million listeners each week, and is complimented by Virgin Radio Classic Rock, Virgin Radio Xtreme and Virgin Radio Groove.
The latest Rajar figures show that the Virgin Radio Network increased hours by 9% year-on-year, now boasting 2.7 million listeners. Virgin Radio?s newest station, Virgin Radio Xtreme, delivered excellent results with a 17% quarter-on-quarter increase in listeners in only its second Rajar.
Other Virgin Radio channels have been allocated new numbers on Sky Digital, with Virgin Radio Xtreme on 0200, Virgin Radio Classic Rock on 0201, Virgin Radio Groove on 0202 and Virgin Radio 105.8 on 0203. Virgin Radio remains on channel 107.
