TLRC offer to train journalists

The Local Radio Company has teamed up with Cleland Thom Journalism Training Services (CTJTS) to offer a new, fully accredited, on-line Broadcast Journalism course. This gives students the chance to study towards a recognised professional qualification.

TLRC is helping students to complete the ‘practical’ side of the course, through a two week placement at one of its 28 radio stations. The course is being managed by CTJTS and will cost ?750 and usually takes around 12 months to complete.

The company recently lost their Group Programme Director Gordon Davidson who left ‘to explore new opportunities within the music and radio business.’
