The Digital Radio Development Bureau are the latest organisation to offer a podcast. 'The Inside Track' will be produced by GCap Media's Creation and will feature the latest music news and breaking tunes from DAB digital radio stations across the country.
Hosted by Xfm DJ, Marsha, 'The Inside Track' highlights the UK?s best unsigned bands in a 10 minute weekly feast of hip hop, electro indie, r?n?b, rap, indie punk and rock. All the tracks can be heard on DAB digital radio stations.
DRDB chief executive, Ian Dickens comments: ?The youth market is the fastest growing sector buying DAB digital radios, so it?s important to tell them about programme content designed for them. Radio has to be relevant and cutting edge to compete with other new technologies, like iPods. We felt a podcast was the ideal way to sample the type of fresh, new content available on stations like Choice, BBC 1Xtra, Virgin Radio Xtreme, BBC 6 Music, and Kerrang!?
