Merger for major jingle company

Dallas-based jingle and production company TM Century is set to become a wholly owned subsidiary of Jones Media Group, once a number of conditions have been met.

JMG syndicates radio programming and services to approximately 5,700 radio stations throughout the United States and reaches about 1.6 billion weekly listener gross impressions, based on data provided by Arbitron and RADAR. This acquisition will allow JMG and TM Century to further broaden their already diverse product offering to their valued clients.

TM Century have worked with many radio stations around the UK in the last couple of decades, and currently provides stations such as many 107 The Bee, Splash FM, Atlantic FM and Northants 96, Key 103 & TFM with station imaging. Plus, the company is expected to announce a brand new custom jingle package for a major Emap station later this week.

David Graupner, President/CEO of TM Century, said ?We were looking for a partner to take TM Century to the next level and a partnership that would be a win-win-win, for our shareholders, our employees and our clients. With Jones, we got it all and then some. The Jones team gets it. They see the future of media more clearly, and more dynamically, than anyone else in the business. I haven't been this excited about going to work in a long time."

Robert W. Hampton, President of JMG, said "We are pleased to be able to acquire such a quality company with experienced, strong and talented management. TM Century has a long and distinguished history of providing quality products and services to a wide variety of media companies. I am sure that the combination of Jones and TM Century will spawn new, exciting products and services and provide additional opportunities for the associates of each company."
