Gaydio is back in Manchester

Gaydio, Manchester's RSL radio station for the LGBT community is going to be ‘Out and Proud’ once again when it returns for a month long broadcast from 5th February 2007. The station has lined up Bonnie Tyler to perform at the launch party, which will be held in the city's AXM bar – the main station sponsor.

Building on the success of the first broadcast, Gaydio promises a range of exciting programming based around Lesbian, Gay, and Bi and Transgender life in the city. “This broadcast is going to be even more ambitious than our August broadcast which focussed on the Pride festival; all year round, there's so much to celebrate and be proud of being LGBT in Manchester” says Toby Whitehouse, Gaydio Programme Controller.

Gaydio will be broadcasting 24 hours a day and the full programme schedule will be announced shortly on the stations website.
