Les Ross goes daily at WM

Former BRMB breakfast presenter Les Ross is going back to his roots by returning to a daily show on BBC WM in Birmingham. He began his radio career at the station (known then as Radio Birmingham) in 1970, and has been presenting a weekly show since February 2005.

BBC WM's managing editor, Keith Beech, said: "Les Ross is one of the best-loved and most popular presenters there is. I'm excited about the prospect of hearing him every day here on BBC WM.

"His move to the afternoons gives WM six continuous hours from 10am from two of the biggest names in radio, Ed Doolan and Les. It's a mouth-watering combination."

Danny Kelly, who currently hosts the 1pm till 4pm slot will move late night 10pm – 1am.
