New line up for Century 105.4

Century FM in the North West is having a new schedule for the New Year, as new owners GMG Radio put their stamp on the station.

Adam Cole will be the main breakfast presenter, whilst ex Radio 1 DJ Clive Warren joins to host afternoon drive. RadioToday.co.uk has found out the full line up – it's being launched this coming Monday (8th).

Adam replaces the departing Darren Proctor on breakfast and will be joined by Salty (aka Paul Salt) and a new addition – Sarah Graham. Sarah has previously worked for GMG as breakfast presenter on Real Radio Wales.

Adam is no stranger to the North West – most recently he was on Xfm Manchester, and has also presented for Key 103 and Galaxy in Manchester.

Darren Parks continues on mid-mornings, and Clive Warren will be on air 2-6pm. Clive spent six years at Radio 1, mainly on overnights, and also worked at Capital, Heart and Virgin. He's no stranger to GMG either, having previously presented at Real Radio Wales and 102.2 Jazz FM in London.

The Legends will continue their football phone-in at 6, followed by an hour of High School Hits.

Current afternoon presenter Jude Vause-Walsh moves to a new slot, 8-11pm. GMG Radio say her new show will get the region talking about hot topics, tackling social taboos and singing along to great tunes.

The station's Managing Director Roy Bennett says: "Over the last few months we've been planning the future of 105.4 Century FM. We've been talking to our listeners about what they want to hear and I'm incredibly excited about the changes to the music and on-air line-up, which we've made in response. We're all set to deliver the radio station the North West wants and deserves in 2007."
